I'm the founder, maker, and heart behind Golden Rose Embrace — a handmade beeswax candle brand born in Charlotte, NC. Every candle I create is poured with intention, crafted with clean ingredients, and made to bring a little warmth and joy into your home.

But before I tell you about the candles, I want to share why they matter to me.

Survivor Story

In 2004, I was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma — a blood cancer that changed my life completely. It opened my eyes to the everyday products in our homes, filled with hidden toxins, harsh chemicals, and ingredients.

Candles were one of the biggest offenders. Most candles on the market are made with paraffin wax — a petroleum byproduct that releases harmful chemicals when burned. I'd been burning them in my home for years without a second thought.

That changed!

"If I'm going to fill my home with fragrance, it's going to be clean, safe, and good for everyone in it."

I started making my own candles. What began as a hobby — pouring candles for friends and family — became a passion and eventually, it became Golden Rose Embrace.

I chose 100% all-natural beeswax because it's one of the cleanest, most natural wax options available. Unlike paraffin, beeswax burns without releasing harmful toxins into your air. It burns longer, cleaner, brighter, and more beautifully.

Giving back — the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

Because of my own journey with blood cancer, a percentage of every candle sale is donated to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), also known as Blood cancer United — an organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research and supporting patients and families through their fight.
